Volunteers bring energy, compassion, and purpose to everything we do at the Y. They act on community needs with a spirit of service to make an impact.
Whether you’re assisting with or leading a program, serving on a committee, or offering professional expertise, your time and talents are valuable. Y volunteers help shape our policies, support our operations, and enrich the lives of children, adults, and families.
There are many ways to get involved:
Committee Volunteers support key areas like membership, facilities, and fundraising.
Policy Volunteers serve on our Board and guide strategic decisions.
Program Volunteers work directly with members as coaches, mentors, or activity leaders.
If you’re interested in volunteering, please complete a Volunteer Application. We’ll work to match your interests with meaningful opportunities you are interested in.
Whether you’re young or old, beginner or veteran, the YMCA offers a variety of programs & activities for getting and staying healthy.
Membership For All. Financial assistance available for those in need. Download application and email contact@sheridanymca.com or visit our front desk.
