EXPLORE GROUP FITNESS CLASSES AT THE Y!

The Sheridan County YMCA has some of the best Group Fitness classes in the area! Yoga, Zumba, Strength Training and more! All instructors are certified and can show modifications and adjustments for all levels of fitness and special limitations participants may have.

LIVESTRONG AT THE YMCA – PARTNERING WITH YOU TO RECLAIM YOUR HEALTH

Ages: 9th grade through adult
LIVESTRONG at the YMCA is a program committed to reaching out to cancer survivors who deserve the opportunity to reclaim or gain their health following their cancer diagnosis and beyond. The 12-week program is FREE and takes place in a clean and supportive environment that is facilitated by specially trained instructors. The goal of this program is to provide cancer survivors with a unique healing experience. This class is open to all cancer survivors whether newly diagnosed or 20 years out.

ENHANCE® FITNESS – MODIFIED MOVES, MAXIMUM RESULTS

Ages: older adults & individuals with arthritis
The Enhance Fitness program is a proven, evidence-based program community-based senior fitness and arthritis management program. It helps older adults become more active, energized and empowered for independent living. Expect a safe, casual atmosphere that encourages social interaction, which is a vital part of health and well-being, and then add an energetic, certified instructor, and the result is a fun and lively program that works.

Members: $25 | Non-members: $50. Schedule: Mondays & Wednesdays, 4:00 PM – 5:00 PM.

Junior high strength, confidence, lifting techniques, and gym safety.

Members: $120 | Non-members: $200. Schedule: Tuesdays & Thursdays, 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM.

Twice-weekly trainer-led strength workouts in a group environment.

BLOOD PRESSURE & BLOOD GLUCOSE CHECKS

  • When: 2nd Wednesday of every month | 8:30–10:30 AM
  • Who: Adults, Seniors & Youth (Ages 16+)
  • Details: Free drop-in health screenings provided by Sheridan County Public Health nurses. No appointment necessary!

8-WEEK PRENATAL PREPARATION WORKSHOP

  • Format: 8-Week In-Person Series
  • Details: A collaborative program supporting expecting parents through pregnancy, delivery, and postpartum care.
  • Topics Covered: Prenatal nutrition, mental health, exercise, labor & delivery, pelvic floor health, breastfeeding, and newborn care.

INDIVIDUAL HEALTH COACHING

  • Who: Active Older Adults, Adults & Youth (Ages 15+)
  • Details: Work 1-on-1 with a health coach to go beyond the “what” and explore the “why” to set realistic lifestyle goals and break through barriers with less stress.

STYKU 3D BODY SCANNING

  • Who: Adults & Active Older Adults (Ages 18+)
  • Details: Fast, non-invasive 3D body scans that measure body composition and track real physical progress over time. Pay per scan or save with a package.
