Water
Fitness Programs
A variety of adult water fitness classes
are offered throughout the year, all designed to improve the function
of the heart, lungs and muscular system. Experience an array of
resistive equipment and program formats as you enjoy the buoyancy of
the water. See the Water Fitness Schedule above for programs

Water Pilates
Core conditioning in the pool with adapted
Pilates exercises.

Arthrocize
Joint range of motion exercises to improve
muscular strength and endurance and correct body mechanics to alleviate
difficulties in gait and everyday activities. |

Adult Swim
Lessons
Overcome fear of the water, how to swim, additional
strokes or stroke improvement. |

Length Swim
Times set aside for individuals 9th grade
or older to either swim or walk laps.

Discover
Scuba
A two-hour scuba experience.

SCUBA
Open Water Dive Certification. Offered
at various times throughout the year. |

PADI Seal
Team
An underwater pool adventure, scuba style.

On the Guard

YMCA Lifeguard
Training
Offered various times throughout the year.
In-depth training emphasizing safety in and around the water. Includes
CPR and First Aid training. |

Parent /
Child Swim Lessons
Ages 6 months - 3 years
Water enrichment and aquatic readiness activities
for children 6 months to 3 years. Parents or other trusted adults
are in the water with children. |

Preschool
Swim Lessons
Ages 3 to 5
and
Youth Swim Lessons
Ages 5 and older
Children develop competency in swimming,
along with confidence and endurance. Children will advance to the
next level when they can safely and proficiently perform the skills within
their current level. |

Open Swim
Recreational open swim. Children under 8 years old must
be accompanied and supervised in the water by an adult (18 or older). |
