The Sheridan County YMCA has been serving the Sheridan community and region since 1959. With a commitment to nurturing the potential of kids, promoting healthy living and fostering a sense of social responsibility, the Y ensures that every individual has access to the essentials needed to learn, grow and thrive. The Y has the longstanding relationships and physical presence not just to promise, but to deliver, lasting personal and social change. Though the world may be unpredictable, one thing remains certain – the Y is, and always will be, dedicated to building healthy, confident, connected and secure children, adults, families and communities.

A SAFE ENVIORNMENT

The YMCA conducts regular sex offender screenings on all members, participants, and guests. If a sex offender match occurs, the YMCA will cancel membership, end program participation and remove visitation access. All individuals 18 and over must provide a government issued photo ID upon activating a membership or purchasing a daily pass.
